The issue of adolescent nutrition, particularly anemia, requires more attention from the government. Currently, the primary focus of government programs is more directed towards pregnant women, even though anemia in adolescents can also lead to serious complications, including increased risk of bleeding during childbirth and maternal death. Preventing anemia from adolescence, especially in girls who are at higher risk due to menstruation, is essential to ensure the future health of pregnant women and reduce the risk of giving birth to babies with anemia or stunting. According to the 2023 Buleleng District Health Profile, the coverage of iron tablet consumption among adolescent girls remains low at 88,80% of a total of 28.314 adolescent girls. However, this is expected to increase to at least 90%. Factors such as lack of knowledge, awareness, and nutritional intake are the main obstacles. The goal of this Community Service (PkM) activity is to enhance the knowledge and awareness of adolescent girls about the importance of preventing anemia through the consumption of iron tablets. The activity will be carried out in three stages: education/training and two mentoring sessions to support participants’ action plans within the school environment. The expected outcomes of this activity are increased coverage of iron tablet consumption as well as the publication of an article in a national journal and the release of a video of the activities on a YouTube channel.
