Edukasi Pentingnya Pemantauan Tumbuh Kembang Balita Usia 1-2 Tahun di Desa Ranggasolo Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Wera

Children who experience developmental disorders will have an impact on the child's subsequent growth and development. The prevalence of developmental delays in Indonesia is around 5-10%. One in 100 children have low intelligence and speech delays, two in 1,000 babies experience motor development disorders and 3-6 in 1,000 babies also experience hearing disorders. So it is necessary to provide education about the importance of monitoring the growth and development of toddlers aged 1-2 years. The target of this community service activity is all mothers who have toddlers aged 1-2 years in Ranggasolo village, the woking area of the Wera Health Center, Bima Regency, the number of mothers who have toddlers aged 1-2 years is 10 mothers of toddlers. The method used has several stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation and reporting. This community service activity was carried out in June 2024. The location of the implementation was at the Ranggasolo village Polindes, the working area of the Wera Health Center. The results of community service are first, community participation in educational activities consisting of mothers of toddlers aged 1-2 years, 2 village midwives and 2 midwives from the Wera Health Center, where participants were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity. Second, after participating in educational counseling, most mothers of toddlers showed a better understanding of the importance of monitoring the growth and development of toddlers aged 1-2 years. Third, there was an increase in knowledge after a discussion (question and answer) with 10 mothers of toddlers aged 1-2 years. Fourth, the understanding of mothers of toddlers aged 1-2 years about the importance of monitoring the growth and development of toddlers aged 1-2 years. This activity can increase awareness and knowledge of mothers regarding the importance of monitoring the growth and development of toddlers aged 1-2 years.
