Penggunaan Media Video untuk Edukasi Cuci Tangan dalam Tradisi Ngayah Banjar di Tabanan Bali

Washing hands is one of the simplest but most effective preventive measures in preventing the spread of disease. Video media has advantages in conveying information compared to conventional methods such as lectures or brochures. Educational materials adapted to local cultural contexts have a greater impact in increasing understanding and changing behavior. This activity was carried out with the aim of providing good knowledge about how to wash hands properly and correctly in the Banjar ngayah tradition. Method: This activity was carried out in October 2024, targeting village communities who have carried out the ngayah banjar tradition. The evaluation method used is pre and post test, where the public is asked questions via a questionnaire accessed via Google Form before and after being given an educational video on good and healthy hand washing. The aim is to find out the public's understanding of the education provided. Results: There was an increase in the average community knowledge about good and healthy hand washing in the Banjar ngayah tradition before and after being given health education. Where there was an increase in the percentage of good knowledge before being given education, it was 18.4% and after being given education, it was 89.6%. Conclusion: The evaluation shows that the hand washing educational video is effective in increasing public knowledge about good and healthy hand washing when implementing the ngayah banjar tradition. It is hoped that local communities, through Ngayah groups, can become agents of change by adopting correct hand washing practices and disseminating this information to other communities.
